Vote in the 1994 Movies Showdown – Round 2

(click image for hi-res version)As is usually the case, Round 1 of the 1994 Movies Showdown didn’t yield too many close battles, with the majority of winners earning at least 60% of the vote. When a Man Loves a Woman and Heavenly Creatures defeated their opponents — Ted Demme’s holiday comedy The Ref and Disney’s first go at a live-action The Jungle Book, respectively — by a margin of 56% to 44% for the narrowest victory, while Pulp Fiction absolutely destroyed the Johnny Depp drama Arizona Dream with 98% of the vote for the largest win.

Hopefully Round 2 will bring us a bit more suspense with a few tougher match-ups, but we’re only getting started. Cast your votes now before polling closes on Tuesday, October 1 at 10pm PT, and come right back for Round 3 of the 1994 Movies Showdown!
